Welcome the Legal Services of Eastern MI. We are dedicated to providing high-quality legal representation to our clients in Eastern Michigan. Please read the following contract carefully before engaging our services.

Contract for Legal Services

This contract (“Contract”) is entered into by and between Legal Services of Eastern MI (“Provider”) and the client (“Client”) for the provision legal services as outlined below.

1. Scope Services The Provider agrees to provide legal services, including but not limited to legal counseling, representation in legal proceedings, and legal document preparation, to the Client as requested and required in matters relating to civil, criminal, and administrative law.
2. Fees and Payment The Client agrees to pay the Provider the agreed-upon fees for the legal services provided. Such fees shall be due and payable in accordance with the terms outlined in the Fee Agreement signed by both parties.
3. Retainer The Client may be required to pay a retainer fee to the Provider, which shall be held in trust and used to cover the cost of legal services provided to the Client. Any unused portion of the retainer fee shall be refunded to the Client upon the termination of the attorney-client relationship.
4. Confidentiality The Provider shall maintain the confidentiality of all information and communications shared by the Client, in accordance with the rules of professional conduct and attorney-client privilege.
5. Governing Law This Contract shall be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan and any disputes arising out of or relating to this Contract shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Michigan.
6. Termination This Contract may be terminated by either party upon written notice to the other party. Upon termination, the Client shall be responsible for payment of all outstanding fees and costs incurred for the legal services provided.
